Jason T. Williams – President and CEO
Prior to co-founding Intuitect in 2005, Jason spent his entire professional career developing tools and methods for user experience design professionals. At Crosswalk, Inc., Jason was solely responsible for architecture and development of network visualization and analytical tools. In his role as Development Director at Leopard, a Boulder-based interactive marketing agency, Jason architected and managed delivery of more than 20 enterprise-class e-commerce, e-learning, and web portal applications for clients including IBM, Emerson, and Qwest. Before joining Leopard, Jason managed website application development and performed technical due-diligence research for venture-funded clients at IGS, a Boulder-based custom software development firm.
Fred Leise – Chief Operating Officer
Prior to co-founding Intuitect in 2005, Fred was an information architecture (IA) consultant, providing IA and taxonomy development services for such clients as Harpo, Inc., Abbott Laboratories, HP, Dow Corning, Accenture, the Social Security Administration and Columbia College Chicago. He also offered consulting in refining user experience development processes.
Fred honed his IA skills as a member of the fabled Argus Associates in Ann Arbor, MI, where he worked under the direction of Lou Rosenfeld and Peter Morville. While at Argus, Fred worked on projects for Morningstar and LookSmart, among others.
Fred has written and spoken extensively on controlled vocabularies and indexing, in addition to presenting workshops on taxonomies and controlled vocabularies at the annual conferences of the Information Architecture Institute, the Special Libraries Association, and the American Society of Indexers. In September 2006, he was in Brunei and Kuala Lumpur presenting taxonomy workshops under the sponsorship of Singapore-based DZ Hampton.
