Summary: Release 1.4 creates the capability of enabling only Intuitect Basic features after the free 14-day trial period of Intuitect Professional.
Please note that projects created with Intuitect Professional 1.0.32 and after are compatible with 1.4, assuming the file has not been corrupted.
New Features
- The installer now removes previous versions of Intuitect, beginning with version 1.4.
Fixes and Improvements
- General
- An improved error message is generated when a user tries to install Intuitect Professional without first having Visio.
- There is no longer an error generated during the process of creating an Excel import file.
- .NET 2.0 installer installs properly.
- Sitemaps
- It is possible to delete a continue element.
- A tip is provided on opening a sitemap page's wireframe.
- Wireframes
- Page height can be updated globally.
- Sitemap Elements Tree
- Double-clicking a sitemap element tree page while a wireframe is open does not create an error.
Known Issues and Troubleshooting
- Installation
- The installer does not ensure that .vst files are assigned to Visio.
- General
- When adding text to a sitemap, wireframe or flowmap element, the screen zooms in to 100% without zooming back out after the text entry is completed.
- Print preview does not work properly. You can view print preview on a page-by-page basis, but cannot navigate through the print preview pages.
- There are no checkboxes on the Intuitect Professional menu for panes that are open or closed.
- Element Properties
- It is not possible to sort properties by the Value column
- An exception error is generated after adding a property with the maximum index size to a shape.
- Sitemaps
- The sitemap re-centers on elements that are added or moved.
- Copying text from Word and trying to paste it onto a sitemap while a page is selected creates an unrecoverable error.
- Wireframes
- Double-clicking on a pop-up in a hierarchy produces a menu error message.
- It is not possible to cut and paste a form element from a form into a form.
- Header text is not captured in a property and is not reflected in the specifications export.
