Known Issues and Troubleshooting

  • Installation and Startup
    • You may experience errors if Intuitect Professional is not installed to the default directory. If you have installed to a different directory, please uninstall the application and reinstall using the default installation directory.
    • If a project was created in version 1.0.29 or earlier, it will not open in the current version (1.0.37).
    • At very high resolutions (i.e. 1920 x 1200), some images within the application (including the splash screen) appear skewed.
  • Intuitect Toolbar: After adding or removing buttons from Visio toolbars, then editing an Intuitect project, the Intuitect toolbar may disappear. To reopen the toolbar, save your project, then close and reopen Intuitect Professional.
  • Sitemap: You cannot delete a file, filestack, external page, or connector. Please revert to a previously saved version of your project to continue.
  • Menu Designer: Menus do not update in existing pages. The workaround is to configure the Menu Designer before creating wireframes in your project. Please note this is a high-priority fix for the next release of Intuitect Professional scheduled for late March or early April 2007.
  • Element Properties pane: The element properties window occasionally becomes unsynchronized with the element selected in the drawing panel. The element properties window may display a grey area, or the properties of a recently selected object. If this happens, click on the white background to reset the properties window. If the problem persists, save the project and close and reopen Intuitect Professional.
  • Project Patterns
    • If you save a wireframe pattern that contains images or rich-media resources, the "Import Resource" dialog box is displayed once for each of the resources. Simply choose "Use placeholder" and click the OK button. The images will appear properly.
    • If you try to save a pattern with the same name as an existing pattern in the pattern library you will get an error. Please select a different name for one of the patterns.
    • If the pattern library pane is closed you will not be able to save a pattern. To save the pattern, open the pattern library. To open the pattern library window, click the Intuitect menu, select Pattern Library, and then select Open Pattern Library.
  • Prototype
    • If there is more than one section and/or form in a wireframe, the sections and/or forms will not be displayed correctly in the prototype.
    • For some Menu Designer settings, the prototype displays menu items at an incorrect position or alignment. This occurs in the following cases:
    • The menu's X and Y alignment is other than Custom.
      • The Global and Local 1 menu is aligned relative to parent.
      • The Local 2 and Local 3+ menu is aligned absolutely.
    • In addition, the prototype exhibits the following behavior:
      • Multi-Line Text Input is smaller than in Intuitect Professional.
  • Excel Export: The title and description properties of patterns are not exported.
